Apple Crisp Filling

Apple Crisp is a wonderful way to use up apples, and makes a delicious fall or winter treat! It takes a bit of time to slice up all the apples, but the smiles on your family's face will make it well worth it! Serve it with your favorite milk or whip up a batch of coconut cream and you'll be in for a real treat!


6 oz
apple juice concentrate (OR 1/4 c. honey or other sweetener)
2 t
coriander (opt.)
1⁄2 t
cardamom (opt.)


THINLY slice 4 quarts of apples into a kettle.

POUR fruit concentrate or sweetener over top.

BOIL in covered pot for 5 minutes, or until soft.

POUR into 3 quart baking dish.

SPREAD Fruit Crisp Crumble Topping on top, pressing well on edges.

FOLLOW baking directions for crumble topping.


Adjust sweetener as needed for sweetness of apples and if you want the dish as a main dish or a dessert.
