Okra is one of those controversial vegetables. Most people think slime or fried. But those who think slime are usually remembering boiled okra. Have you ever tried steamed okra? It's one of our favorites and is truly fast food! Main thing to remember--DO NOT overcook!
STEAM for three minutes (if small) OR 4-5 minutes (if larger).
REMOVE from heat, pour into a bowl and sprinkle with salt and seasonings immediately.
