Yield: 6 cups
CHOP onion and garlic and saute in water or sesame oil until soft. (I like to use a pot that will be large enough to cook the sauce.)
BLEND tomatoes and seasonings together until smooth.
POUR blender mixture into cooked onions/garlic and stir.
SIMMER for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally (or until thickened to desired consistency).
POUR into warm jars and refrigerate until ready to use.
If using for meatballs, dilute Barbecue Sauce with water, 1:1 ratio, before pouring over meatballs and baking.
