  • ½ cup carob powder or cocoa powder
  • 14 oz coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ cup sorghum molasses
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup OR honey, opt. (if desired for sweetness)
  • 1/8 tsp salt pinch


  1. BLEND or mix all ingredients together until smooth.

  2. POUR into a kettle.

  3. BRING to a boil, stirring constantly and boil for 2 minutes. (use a lid as a shield, because it will spit at you!)

  4. REFRIGERATE until ready to use.

  5. ADD water as necessary to thin it out to desired consistency
